Paper Lamp Shades

Handmade and quite simple, paper lampshades were used on the kerosene lamps to spread the light. There was a simple stencil cut band decoration on top and bottom of the shade in a contrasting color. A fine wire held the shade on the glass lamp chimney. These were used a lot in early Amana and very collectible.
