Victorian calling card baskets

In the Victorian age wealthy men and women had fancy calling cards so these baskets were used to hold them. The intricate wire work, majolica pottery, and fine China or glass bowls in the center made them collectible. They are found at many Amana auctions and used as a decorative item.

They were purchased at the local store and used for many reasons in Amana.
