The tinsmith was a busy craftsman in early Amana, once a communal society. He crated these very needed watering cans unique to Amana. They had a long neck leading to the nozzle, carrying water to flowers in the many local gardens and flower beds. Theses are painted the typical green and blue seen often in the day. Small ones were also made for children. They are very beautiful, strong forms to function each bright morning.
